Sympathetic little flea market in the north of Amsterdam
Already one of our favourite areas of Amsterdam, this northern part, where FC Hyena ( see Movie section ), Hangar, de Goudfazant & Monk ( see Fun section ) are located, is now enriched by this small but sympathetic trunk sale organised by Rob and Coen.
Known as a car-boot sale by Brits, here locals can get rid of some old junk from the trunk every 3rd Sunday of the month ( June – October ). Seeing as how one (wo)man’s trash is another’s treasure, it’s worth taking a gander at what real Dutchies want to get rid of. Prices are generally pretty fair, keeping it fun. Foodtruck and deejay included!!
Sympathetic fact: Free entrance and people over 100 get a free tour of the market.
